The study highlights the importance of pedagogical practices in education to promote significant changes in teaching and learning. It focuses on the complexity of assessments in creative areas, especially in the Bachelor's course in Graphic Design at the Instituto Federal Fluminense, where evaluations are influenced by professional subjectivity and encompass aesthetic, artistic, technological, and multidisciplinary aspects. Using bibliographic research as a procedure, through techniques of annotation, summarization, and systematic reading, the study investigates, through a qualitative approach, relevant studies on assessment methodologies and their implementation in the pedagogical practice of Design. It proposes the adoption of methods that respect the creativity and individuality of students, adapting to various contents and knowledge, with the aim of fully preparing them for future professional challenges.
